Hey guys, disabling "Game Mode" seems to have worked for mine. I found this suggestion on Reddit from last year, and thought it would be worth a try:
"I read somewhere on Forbes that the May Windows 10 update screwed up a lot of communication/compatibility with BOTH Nvidia GeForce and Intel core refresh rates. They fixed this by disabling Game Mode in Windows Settings (Settings --> Gaming --> Game Mode) at the sacrifice of framerates. This isn't a great fix, and the article (which I'll add later today) also says that Microsoft has NOT set a timeline for fixing it yet."
I've been having the same problem for about 4 months now, and this fixed it. You know what's funny? That reddit article is me. FlapjacksFTW is my alias everywhere I go. I wrote that post, but I can no longer find the Forbes article. So thank you sir, for pointing me back to me.
The worst part of that to me however, is that clearly an update turned game mode back on, because I wouldn't have otherwise.
