I have a Surface Headphones 2. I have downloaded the Surface app on my iphone and have connected the headphones via bluetooth and onto the app. However, the Surface app is not letting me sign in once I hit the person icon on the top left corner then SIGN IN. it just loads and says ‘Authenticating’ but nothing happens.

Please check this article and follow the suggested steps that are applicable to your issue. Fix problems with using your Surface Headphones - Microsoft Support. You can simply skip the ones you've already done.

When connecting or configuring your Surface Headphones, you do not need to sign in to the Surface app.

Hi. I’ve done all your troubleshooting steps but still not able to sign in to the Surface app on my Iphone. Please see attached screenshot. It keeps on sayong ‘Authenticating…’ but its not authenticating me at all. It didn’t even ask me to enter my username and password after connecting my headphones to the app.

    Hi Joshua Maralit,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

I am aware that you're having trouble signing in to the Surface app on your iPhone. I am here to help and let us work on this together.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
    2. Close the Surface app and reopen it.
    3. Restart your iPhone and try signing in again.
    4. Check if you have entered the correct email address and password for your Microsoft account.
    5. Try signing in to your Microsoft account on a different device or web browser to see if the issue is with your account.
    6. Uninstall and reinstall the Surface app on your iPhone.

I hope these helps. Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
