We couldn't find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face

Windows Hello Not Working,(We couldn't find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face) on my device Surface Laptop i5

I already tried this options :

"Procedure 1 :

Open File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\WinBioPlugIns\FaceDriver
Right-click on HelloFace.inf and click "Install"
If the file exists do the same thing for HelloFaceMigration.inf in the same directory

Procedure 2 :

Check on your camera manufacturer's website if there is any update available for your camera.

For example if you have a Logitech camera check on the Logitech website for any update for your camera.

Procedure 3 :

Click on Start button, type "cmd", right-click on "Command prompt" and click on "Run as administrator".

Copy-paste the following lines in the command prompt, one by one, pressing Enter after each line (to paste right-click at the top on "Administrator : command prompt" > Edit > Paste) :

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

Procedure 4 :

Click on the Start button, type "run" and click on "Run"
Type "services.msc" (without quotes) and click on "Ok"
Find "Windows Biometric Service", double click on it and click on "Stop"
With File Explorer go to C:\Windows\System32\WinBioDatabase and make a backup of all the files just in case. Move that backup outside of that folder.
Once backed up delete all the files in C:\Windows\System32\WinBioDatabase
Open another time "services.msc", double-click on Windows Biometric Service and restart it
Go to Start, type "settings", click on "Settings", go to "Accounts", "Sign-in options" and register the Face data again"

This helped my case when windows reset my camera. Thank you very much

My issue happens after I restored my laptop

Tried all suggestion, just using this one and once get help app reset my camera and all worked..

I had the same problem on my Surface Laptop 3, after testing all possible solutions I've found on the net I finally got it working!

From Microsoft´s Support (https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/) I've launched the Get Help app

Then I've told the chatbot that I had problems with Hello Face, and then asked it to run the troubleshooter

... a minute after the Camera was finally recognized and Facial recognition working!

It's a shame that the troubleshooter is non mentioned anywhere else (it should be directly accessible from the Windows Settings application, as soon as it detects troubles!)

... I hope this can save some time to anyone

I have tried everything from OP's methods and none of them worked.

I then tried this 'Get Help' app and it didn't work for me.

I also tried installing Windows Hello Face in Optional Features and it says 'Install failed' (it was already installed but Windows Hello Face wasn't working so I uninstalled it and now I couldn't reinstall)

Windows Hello Face was working perfectly for me until I updated Windows to 20H2 which caused problems with my user profile where I fixed that by creating a new profile, everything works except Windows Hello Face.

I'm so hopeless. I think I have tried everything they suggest on the internet. Still no luck.
