Duo 2 Android 12L breaks calling

Since the Android 12L update, I have not been able to make or receive calls. Incoming goes straight to voicemail and outgoing immediately ends calls. Carrier is T-Mobile. I suspect the issue is the same at what happened with the AUS phones as listed here Android 12 Breaks Calls — ZenTalk (asus.com)

This required an update to get the calls working again. Is there such as update in the works as right now my due 2 is just a tablet that cannot make calls.

Everything else works btw even calls with WhatsApp and teams

For those of you that have reported that incoming calls are going directly to voice mail and that outgoing calls are ending immediately, if you are willing, we would be interested in getting an Android bug report from you before trying some potential steps that might help.

To generate an Android bug report, follow the steps here to submit feedback to Microsoft and then reply to this thread or send a private message letting me know that you have done that:

Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback app on Surface Duo

If you are encountering this scenario, one thing to try is to temporarily insert a SIM from another mobile operator and then change back to the SIM you are using. Here are the steps:

    2. Take out your current SIM.
    3. Insert a SIM from a different mobile operator (not your existing mobile operator).
    4. Press the power button to turn on your Surface Duo 2 and sign into your device.
    5. Once the device connects to the mobile network, press and hold the power button for a couple of seconds, and then choose the Power off option to turn off your Surface Duo 2.

    7. Press the power button to turn on your Surface Duo 2.

Please reply and let me know if this helps.

    Thanks.

Just submitted a bug report and a screen recording showing the problem. Would be nice to get some sort of confirmation this issue is being worked.

Same issue here. Duo 2 on Tmobile. Worked for a bit after the update and now immediately says "Call Ended" when I try to dial out and incoming calls go straight to voicemail. I don't really understand how this could possibly be a real issue that made it through testing. I love this phone but honestly the worst part of it is the actual phone functionality - either crappy reception compared to a Galaxy or it doesn't cleanly recover after coming back after being in a spot with no service.

Per prior replies, all the same with me. Soft / hard resets, etc. No custom TMobile setup. Wifi-calling on or off doesnt matter. Put SIM in another phone and that phone works just fine. I opened a case with MS Surface Tech Support and they are replacing the device. BTW - someone how I got locked out of my Google backup in addition so I could not even restore backup on hard reset which really sucks.
