I'm having similar issue with my new Jabra Elite 65t during Teams calls. Everything else is fine, e.g. music, videos, zoom calls are fine but there's an annoying buzz in the left ear during Teams calls. I wonder if it's a Teams codec issue?
Surface Earbuds has a static hissing sound in left ear when on video calls.
My main problem is that when I am using my Surface Earbuds with my Surface Book 2 and on video calls through Zoom there is a distinct static/hissing sound coming out of the left earbud when someone else is talking. The right earbud does not have this problem. When listening to music or making calls on my Galaxy S9+ I do not have this problem at all. The batteries have been fully charged before using them and I have also update the firmware to 3.0.0.5 which is the latest update available and still have this problem. When in a conference call the audio and mic are connected to Surface Earbuds Hands-Free AG Audio.

2021-01-08T03:15:17+00:00 I'm having similar issues with Surface Headphones 2 (not buds). Static in left earcup only, and only on Zoom calls. Music is fine.
This is on an M1 MacBook Pro.

I confirmn I’m operating on latest Bluetooth as I have latest SurfaceBook and iOS devices. Yeah, this issue is a shame, don’t understand.... Appreciate you though!

2020-12-16T14:30:03+00:00 Although I have not personally tested this, I have heard that the Surface Earbuds are sensitive to the version of Bluetooth being used and that they seem to work better with Bluetooth 5. Do you know what version you have on your iPhone?
It is frustrating that a "premium" Surface branded device does not seem to work well with Microsoft Teams. It would be nice if there was some sort of update to correct this issue.

2020-12-16T14:19:35+00:00 Doing this - marking default sound settings to the headset option - did NOT prevent the hissing/muffled sound to continue on the left earpiece.
Is there a solution/fix to this, or an issue consumers need to endure with this product?
