Right ear doesn't work on my new Surface Headphones

I just received my brand new Surface headphones and the right ear cup hasn't worked at all.

I've tried it on both my computer and phone, both wired and through bluetooth and the problem persists.

I've also checked the balance on both devices.

I've updated the headphones in the Cortana app, reset them to factory settings and shut them off and on again.

Is there anything else I can try or have I just bought a faulty set?

I live in Iceland and I bought the headphones on Amazon. Is there any option for me locally to have them repaired on warranty?

Best regards, Petur
