My Surface Pro 7 has been disconnecting from the internet. It's still connected to my wifi network, but it says "Connected, no internet". The internet is working (connected to the same wifi) on my other devices, including my phone and my Surface Pro 3. Can anyone help?

Let me know if you still have this problem and would like to pursue a class action. I am on my 3rd surface pro 7 device and have devoted upwards of 100 hours to resolving this issue with technical support, and has cost me untold other hours in productivity. They have been aware of the issue since December but refuse to refund customers though this is a problem shared universally by surface pro 7 users, and simply tell customers to wait for the "update" that will resolve this issue. After six months I just want my money back, and damages for lost time as I believe Microsoft has intentionally swept this under the rug and their refusal to treat this matter seriously is compounding the cost in its customers.

Though I am not an attorney, I will be securing one, but first I would like to gather interested parties so that we might pursue a class-action lawsuit. If you feel you have been harmed, please contact me @ *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

I'm not sure what it was, but this hasn't happened to me since shortly after my last post. I'm guessing it was one of the Windows updates. It would always happen without fail when streaming video nightly. I've watched a ton of video since, especially given everything going on, and the only time internet has dropped has been when it dropped for my other devices too.

I feel your frustration. Hopefully it's the type of thing where each update improves performance with the Surface Pro's connection with various routers and you'll get the fix soon too. I also feel like it's the kind of thing that probably won't happen on the next generation, so I'd buy again.

For me the issue is resolved permanently by applying card config change as I described on 29th of March earlier in this thread. It is not perfect, but it works.

Hi AdamC Thanks for the advice. I may be a total idiot, but can you please advise where to find the menu screenshotted above? I'm not very techy and am currently working on final college assessment and this issue is driving me mad. Mine is a Surface Pro3

Hi, if you have Surface pro 3 then it may not apply to you, you may have different WiFi adapter and different options. I am referring to Surface Pro 7. The menu I refer to you may find by opening Device Manager (start menu, type: device manager and launch it). In the tree, navigate to 'Network adapters', choose your WiFi card, right click it, choose 'Properties' and here you are.

Hope this helps, but I doubt if Surface Pro 3 issue is the same.
