Surface Pro 7 WiFi says "Connected, no internet" when internet is working

My Surface Pro 7 has been disconnecting from the internet. It's still connected to my wifi network, but it says "Connected, no internet". The internet is working (connected to the same wifi) on my other devices, including my phone and my Surface Pro 3. Can anyone help?

    Try disabling AX and AC mode. I switched to N mode and no issues so far (few power on / sleep wake ups). Screenshot attached. Will keep posting the status.

    Good thing about external dongle issues - means that the problem is software, not hardware, so maybe after 3 years MS will fix that... Then we'll upgrade hardware and again ;)....

    UPDATE: pls see my later post from 29th of March (few items below this one) as it permanently resolves the issue for me

    So it's been 24 hours and WiFi works seamlessly on 802.11n settings.

    Shame on Microsoft for not testing AC/AX connections. I hope this gets fixed.

    Advice to everybody experiencing 'Connected - no internet' issue to update settings to use 802.11n only and report to what extent it helps in your cases. Pls also post your WiFi routers so MS engineers could maybe fix the issue finally...

    My routers are:

    Linksys LAPAC1750 Pro (access point)

    Linksys EA6900

    Linksys WRT1900ACS

    Since changing my setting internal wifi seems much more stable....however I did experience 2-3 disconnects over the past 24 hours.

    I can confirm that switching to N mode works stable and no disconnects experienced at all. WiFi connects at first attempt.

    But I have also googled the net and found that there is a way to have stable WiFi also in AC and AX modes. You just need to set advanced property 'MIMO Power save mode' to 'No SMPS', as in the attachment.

    Hey Microsoft, please fix this issue permanently as your clients buying top of the shelf product may be very disappointed that shiny new Surface Pros have such basic issues.
