Surface Pro 7 WiFi says "Connected, no internet" when internet is working

But for me the symptom is what is mentioned in this thread. I am connected, but no internet. This has become a real problem as I'm presenting to clients and having meetings from home and in the middle of a Teams Video chat I cut out. 

At first I did everything I could with the home router and even had AT&T come out and update everything. New fiber modem, new router, new wifi extender. My Surface is next to the wifi extender and this problem is still happening. 

Really need to get a fix in place ASAP. :) Please.

It seems that Microsoft is having some issuses with properly implementing power saving sleep / wake up.

A pity, and annoying for customers. Hope they read this forum from time to time and improve ;)

A couple of days and this issue hasn't happened. No calls dropped so i feel great. Thanks for the support.

Thanks for the continued effort. Yes I don't seem to be having WiFi issues at all but I'm looking for network stability if at all possible so I did take your WiFi suggestions too. Dropping repeatedly out of meetings has become very frustrating in the time of the pandemic when that's how all my meetings are held.  I've now changed both Idle power saving and energy-efficient ethernet to disabled. I'll report back on any improvements.

Changes from my earlier post (second one) were only proven to help for wifi issues.

In your case I would try disabling Idle Power Saving and Energy-Efficient Ethernet.

Hope you'll figure out working configuration, but in case, you might also want to chat with Microsoft Support. In one case they were really able to help me, unfortunately when it comes to network connectivity they may have issues with connecting remotely to your PC.
