My Surface Pro 7 has been disconnecting from the internet. It's still connected to my wifi network, but it says "Connected, no internet". The internet is working (connected to the same wifi) on my other devices, including my phone and my Surface Pro 3. Can anyone help?

    I have same question.

Previous week, my sp7 wifi connection was fine.

Then applied some updates from windows update (auto update).

And now, I get my sp7 with this condition "Connected, no internet".

I tried ipconfig /renew. Wifi indicator on taskbar says connected for a minute before changes back to "no internet" status.

    Hello, my name is Luis

I want to just tell you right away that I'm in the same boat as you.

My Surface Pro 7 has updated and now will not connect to the internet no matter what I do. I troubleshooted it with an agent and eventually got a replacement.

The thing is thought that this happened two times after this.

I have literally spent hours trying to fix this, and they keep giving me the same methods, but I know what will work is recovering the Surface and have to reinstall every single program and software I use as a high school teacher during these remote-learning times.

I do not want to continue getting a replacement. What I want to do is have the quality I paid almost $3000 for. This just wastes my time and my quality of work I do because of the delay this device keeps giving me.

I eventually got to speak to Alberto M.

I am still speaking with him and he does not wish to compensate me for anything. All he is doing is repeating the same thing he has said from the beginning: that he is going to thoroughly inspect the next device I receive to make sure this doesn't happen again. So that shows me that they failed to do that the first time I got a replacement.

I demand to speak to his superior, and he says he is the highest support available and that there is no policy to compensate me. So he says he is the highest support and there is no compensation policy, so that means he has the power to make that decision if he is the highest tier; and if that's true, he doesn't want to.

And I know he isn't the highest tier. He has bosses. So unless he is the CEO of Microsoft, there are some other people besides Mr. M that I should be able to speak to.

I'm so sorry for their unprofessionalism and neglect. I suggest to persist. He is bound to connect you to his bosses, even though he says he doesn't have any.

We need more information. Is this a new issue or have you always had this
problem? When did you purchase your SP7? Have you tried connecting at a
different location? All I can do is send you to
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=100419 with another
computer and have you download the MSI that matches your build number and use a
USB stick to transfer to your SP7 and run the file. 18362 is for builds 18362
    and higher.

I am baffled as to why answers to this problem are being sent to me.  My own problem is completely different, I cannot get into my new computer at all as I have lost the PIN I set and that is all it asks for.  I have no idea what I can do.
