constant PFN_LIST_CORRUPT BSOD on surface pro 7

I have a surface pro 7 that I use 90% of the time for taking notes. I've noticed that about once every week, immediately after using the camera in Onenote for Windows 10 I get a PFN_LIST_CORRUPT blue screen. This happens when onenote is syncing with onedrive, after the camera app has shut down. This doesn't occur every time I use the camera, and so far I have only seen this BSOD while using onenote.     So I went ahead and contacted Window Support in a long shot to fix the issue or in the least replace my device. The rep used Quick Assist to take over my machine and did the following steps. I ask her to send me an email with what she did.

    The steps we did last time are the following

    • Reset Camera App

                    > Go Settings > Apps and features > Camera > Advance Options > Reset

    • Uninstall and reinstall the camera drivers

                    > In the search bar beside the start menu, please search Device Manager and open it > double click on Camera > right click then click Uninstall (do not put a check mark)

                    > Open System Devices > right click on Microsoft Camera Front, Microsoft Camera Rear and Microsoft IR Camera Front then hit Uninstall > Restart the device

    For the last 3 or 4 days I have been using my camera at work and at home with the Camera App and Skype and have not received a BSOD.

    Keeping my fingers crossed but this might have actually fixed it.

    Ja_Mo, do you still have your Surface Pro 7? I tested more last night and never got a BSOD. Maybe you can test yours, too.

    I had uninstalled the camera in the device driver before but I don't think I did all three; front, rear, and IR cameras.

    HAHA! Nevermind, it just happed again. Going to send the dmp file to the same rep and re-open my ticket. Fun times!

    To anyone who still has this problem what are your Privacy & security > Location settings?

    I noticed the Location arrow pop up in the taskbar before every blue screen.

    It might be nothing but I`m grasping a straws here since the Rep pretty much said if it's a hardware problem I have to pay for a replacement.

    I am now testing with all Location services disabled.

    My location is turned off, I only get a notification about CTF loader trying to access it every once in a while, but access is blocked.

    I'm now at a point where Microsoft literally refuses to help me, they've just closed my ticket because they didn't know what to do anymore. I've now basically given up because it wasn't worth the hassle anymore for me.

    But if you find a solution, please tell us, I'm still interested!
