constant PFN_LIST_CORRUPT BSOD on surface pro 7

I have a surface pro 7 that I use 90% of the time for taking notes. I've noticed that about once every week, immediately after using the camera in Onenote for Windows 10 I get a PFN_LIST_CORRUPT blue screen. This happens when onenote is syncing with onedrive, after the camera app has shut down. This doesn't occur every time I use the camera, and so far I have only seen this BSOD while using onenote.     Hey! Have you had any updates on a possible fix?

    I am experiencing BSOD sometimes while using Zoom and facial recognition doesn't always work.

    This is on a Surface Pro 7 that was purchased this month. Not sure what Windows 10 version the system came with but as part of setup I did a windows update and today I updated to 21H1 hoping for a fix but still experiencing problems.

    I don't think the Windows Hello issues and this BSOD have anything to do with each other.

    That said, as far as I know, Microsoft is still working on a fix for the BSOD. I hope they will drop the fix along with the August firmware updates, that would mean around 20/08/2021.

    Windows Hello issue is definitely connected with this BSOD issue. I am sure it is. The camera freezes on Windows Hello and than it does not work in Windows either until reboot. But if if it happens to work on login screen that you will highly likely (oops ;P) get BSOD in zoom during your session.

    So this is something to do with the driver or firmware of the camera.

    Turns out they pushed out firmware updates today, not the camera drivers, but several others that might be related. Maybe those fix it, but the release notes are very ambiguous about what was fixed.

    Surface – Firmware – 14.418.139.0

    Improves USBC performance and addresses CPU throttling.

    I've loaded the updates but expect the issues to continue. Will report back later.
