constant PFN_LIST_CORRUPT BSOD on surface pro 7

I have a surface pro 7 that I use 90% of the time for taking notes. I've noticed that about once every week, immediately after using the camera in Onenote for Windows 10 I get a PFN_LIST_CORRUPT blue screen. This happens when onenote is syncing with onedrive, after the camera app has shut down. This doesn't occur every time I use the camera, and so far I have only seen this BSOD while using onenote.     Actually front cam is also a subject to this issue. I usually have bsod with front cam while on meeting or “Face ID”

    You can check if it's PFN_LIST_CORRUPT by opening reliability monitor and looking for an error with the error code 4e or 0x4e (HEX Code for PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.

    It's usually quite obvious if it happens after using the rear camera though, so it shouldn't be hard to find out.

    My wife mentioned still gets a few BSOD on Win 11.

    Not sure if they are camera related.

    I upvoted the existing feedback and also submitted my own, with the latest build of Windows 11, on the Feedback Hub, but yeah, I'm not holding my breath.

    I actually use my camera for recording students giving speeches so using a phone is a no go I think.

    I'll just have to awkwardly use the front facing camera. The quality isn't as good but at least it doesn't BSOD.

    I just received this BSOD twice while using the rear camera. I have submitted my minidump files to Windows Feedback. I hope they fix this because I will be using my rear camera a lot this year in class!

    I've honestly given up on it, I don't think they'll fix it anytime soon. You can try using Microsoft Lens on Android instead and syncing it over OneDrive or OneNote (that's what I do all the time now). Also try upvoting the existing feedback hub posts.
