constant PFN_LIST_CORRUPT BSOD on surface pro 7

I have a surface pro 7 that I use 90% of the time for taking notes. I've noticed that about once every week, immediately after using the camera in Onenote for Windows 10 I get a PFN_LIST_CORRUPT blue screen. This happens when onenote is syncing with onedrive, after the camera app has shut down. This doesn't occur every time I use the camera, and so far I have only seen this BSOD while using onenote.     My location is turned off, I only get a notification about CTF loader trying to access it every once in a while, but access is blocked.

    I'm now at a point where Microsoft literally refuses to help me, they've just closed my ticket because they didn't know what to do anymore. I've now basically given up because it wasn't worth the hassle anymore for me.

    But if you find a solution, please tell us, I'm still interested!

    I just received this BSOD twice while using the rear camera. I have submitted my minidump files to Windows Feedback. I hope they fix this because I will be using my rear camera a lot this year in class!

    I've honestly given up on it, I don't think they'll fix it anytime soon. You can try using Microsoft Lens on Android instead and syncing it over OneDrive or OneNote (that's what I do all the time now). Also try upvoting the existing feedback hub posts.

    I agree 2004/20h2 might be the culprit. I have reinstalled 1909 and so far I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary.

    hi daniel, i posted this exact same issue a few days ago. 

    just came to say that its not hardaware related or fauty surface.

    heres my story: i buy my surface i month ago, and the problem with the camera staying on, havig to reboot to fix it was present since day one. i contacted ms, long story short, they told me to reinstall windows /which didnt fixed the issue) and then sent my surface for replacement, so i did. the replacement has the exact same issue

    what i discovered is that the BSOD is related to 2004 and 20h2 versions of windows, in 1909 i got no BSOD, but the camera gets bugged from time to time, so i recommend to roll back if you updated.

    I have installed 20h2, but unfortunately I cannot say if MS fixed the issue since I haven't used the camera in quite some time. I would suggest staying on 1909 or earlier for another two or three months just to be extra sure...
