Battery drain issue

Hi all,

I just got a Surface Pro 7 and became a part of Surface community.

I have a quick question. How long does your Surface Pro 7 battery last?

I saw several posts and comments on the battery drain issue, but I'd like to know whether the battery problem is only to a specific model (i5 or i7), or just seen in some devices.

Because I feel my Surface Pro barely works for 4~5 hours (Wifi with google docs, or simple work, etc.) not up to 10.5 hours. On the ads, it clearly says 'All-day battery life' & up to 10.5 hours of typical device usage. I tried some recommendations from other posts, but so far no luck here. 

So, I'd like to know whether you have a similar problem or successfully managed the problem.

I have a Surface Pro 7 with i5 processor, and on full charge only get 4 - 5 hours with only moderate use till battery down to 15% charge, that is no video, nothing but checking email and chats

That only checks if all windows processes are running and none are corrupt. It will most probably say everything is okay. Meaning Microsoft is draining this device with its own drivers and OS. And not because of a virus or other software the customer has installed.

I got the i5 version. I set the minimum cpu power to 2 percent both plugged/battery. On battery performance is set to balanced. At 100% battery I turn off the display. And the next morning without my intervention it is empty. I turned all software and wifi/bt I could see off. Idk why Microshift asks so much money and puts out a piece of shitt. Microsoft lets An-es-ay spy on its paying customers. That's most probably the reason battery-life is **** on this product. Microshift is AssHo!

I have bought a surface pro7(i5, ram8,SSD 128)for 6 months, at first its battery was really perfect but one month ago while I was working with Microsoft project software suddenly I found out that my battery is draining very fast. Then, my battery life became 5 to 6 hours at last. I have tested many suggestions but none of them was helpful and I am still shocked, why? Why this happened? I have checked my battery's health by many apps and all of them have shown 100 percent health, so what is wrong? I want a real help and answer from Microsoft kind team because my warranty has not expired and this is not a software issue I want to change my machine.
