Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this?

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

Uninstalled SKYPE = no more battery drain (Surface Pro 6)

    Can someone confirm this?

I can confirm that when I got my new Surface Pro 6 the first thing I did when starting it up was uninstall all the programs and apps I don't ever use like Skype and a few others.

Today it is 9/3 and my battery is still having the same issue.

I also tried that troubleshooting step recommended by someone where a series of steps are taken to include leaving the unit off for 10 to 12 hours then using it to completely drain it. At first that seemed to resolve the issue, then I got some new microsoft updates which I accepted and installed.

I don't know if those updates reversed those troubleshooting steps I took that seemed to help earlier but all I can say is my brand new Surface Pro 6 is back to square one.

I woke up this morning around 4am to use the restroom, decided to unplug the charger from the unit that has been left charging overnight, went back to bed. I woke up again close to 9am, turned on the unit and this is what I saw:

    2019-09-03 <br>04:18:00 Suspended 102 % 49,060 mWh
    08:43:48 Active Battery 75 % 36,710 mWh
    08:44:15 Report generated Battery 75 % 36,710 mWh

After a few shutdowns without issue it happened again this morning. Started up with 84% : (

At least that's better than 75%...
