The important part is that once you effectively drain the battery, leaving it 6 more hours after the screen goes completely black to drain the part of the battery that powers the microdevices that contains the corrupted UEFI, you can access all your data as normal.
Hi Sonia, You are genius. I was just speaking to my son around building such a tool/device which could intermittently keep pushing the power button and force the battery drain..
by the way, my model number is same as yours and I guess am riding the same boat as yours...so with your positive experience, only hope for me is to keep pushing the button for few more days or hours (or weeks) and then wait for another day or two as you suggest and then plug in the charger to see if it fires up...fingers crossed
