Pen pressure and tapering problems

I love the new SP4 pen, but I've noticed the pen pressure is not consistent. The biggest problem is that paint brush strokes in Photoshop don't taper smoothly when drawing. I tired using the SP4 pen on my Surface Pro 3 and it doesn't have any problem. Here is a screen capture of what I'm talking about.

Since the pen isn't the problem I'm assuming it's a calibration issue with the Surface Pro 4. I downloaded new Wintab drivers to see if that would solve the problem (got the idea from this thread about pen problems).

It's not just Photoshop. The actual Surface pen pressure app has the same problem. It's harder to see because the brush strokes are thinner, but there is a much faster tapering happening than there is on the Surface Pro 3. Here is a screen cap:

Hey Everyone!

Thanks for all the feedback!

As some of you have already noticed, on July 14th, 2016, we released an update to the Surface Touch Driver that should significantly improve the pen tapering and pressure experience that this thread talks about.

For more information on the 7/14 update, you can go here.

If you experience any difficulty downloading or installing updates, please check the Troubles installing Surface and Windows updates article for assistance.

Thanks!

Zachary

And scince we don't have tilt and we don't have a stroke by just touching the screen with the pen to have a ligth stroke

(we have to press harder to have a stroke and just touching the screen with the pen don't make a stroke unlike other graphic tablet) I think you should make a surface pro 4 pen+ that add tilt,a second button, and is much sensitive to draw stroke by just touching the screen with it

And I forgot after adding smoothing and calibration and others to the pen software you should add an option to let us choose what the pen button do and what pressing on the eraser do

for exemple if I want that presing the eraser undo the latest stroke  and that presing on the pen button is like pressing on Shift on photoshop

You should also add profile so depending of wich program we are using it change the profile

then we should be able to save and load those profiles(like on wacom software)

And btw if you are doing a surface pro 4 pen + the eraser should have pressure sensitivity as well

and if possible  those who already have a surface pro 4 pen should pay less to get the pro + one by giving it back

    Come on Microsoft !!!

It have almost been a month scince we reported this issue and a LOT of artist are waiting for an update because it is a realy anoying issue that ruins the drawing experience

So please do something about it,i bougth a surface instead of another laptop because with it i don't have to take my graphic tablet on the go but with this issue I can't realy use it as i want so please just speed up to fix it

and add more customisation to the pen software (ex: calibration, smoothing/stabilizer , and others)

and if you could also add touch gesture (zoom in and out and rotate)for the program called paint tool sai (from systemax) then I would have nothing to say anymore so please think about all of the artist that bougth the surface pro 4 for creativity and do something fast !!!

thank for reading this post and hope that you are going to do something about it as fast as possible
