I finally got someone to tell me "This driver contains some keyboard fixes. "

My Surface Pro 6 runs noticeably slower when it is connected to the dock. I have a dock at both home and work and see the same reduced performance in both places. This is not a new issue (unlikely related to a recent Win or other software update). Both docks were originally purchased for use with my previous Surface Pro 4 device.
Does anyone else notice such a pattern?
Any thoughts on what might be causing this and how to fix it?
I don't see any obvious issues when looking at Task Manager. CPU, memory and internet are all lightly utilized.
Thanks much for any thoughts.

Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but because the throttling has to do with temperature (I understand it's thermal throttling), I placed a couple of 3x3 case fans that are USB powered next to the Dock - one blows on the dock and the other blows on the connector/space between the surface and its stand. I've not had an issue for the past 30 hours. No determinative, but worth a shot.

is it 3101 or 3301?
The 0,4GHz throttling issue is still here, even on the 239.3101.139.0 firmware.
