Switching between devices (surface headphones 2)

Hi,

Just wondering if I'm using my headphones correctly. I have the headlines paired with my phone and my laptop... If I'm watching a YouTube video on the laptop... And I start playing music on the phone, YouTube (on the laptop) does not pause automatically/i can't hear the music on the phone...

Is this the expected behavior? If I pause the video on the laptop, then there music starts playing.

I was expecting that as soon as I play the music the headphone should switch devices.

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. 

    The headphones is working correctly. You should pause the audio first from the first host before you can have the audio from the other or second host device. You may see this page for more details to Use your Surface Headphones 2.
