Surface Headphones 2: Problems with noise cancellation and bluetooth connection

Hello,

I received my Surface Headphones 2 yesterday (Jan 14th) and since using them with my samsung s9 for 5 hours today, I have had the following issues:

  • Bluetooth connection suddenly drops with headphones and I have to re-pair (happened twice)
  • Noise cancellation dial has stopped working after powering on and after and re-pairing

Do I have a faulty device? Or is this a common and easily remedied problem?

Thank you so much,

Hope

    Hello Hope88,

Thanks for posting your concern here.

Please try to shut down the host device and disconnect the headphones for at least a minute. Reconnect the headphones and Update Surface Headphones. The update will take time to download but feel free to use your headphones or you can let it sit and wait for the update to finish.

Let me know how it goes. Otherwise, don't hesitate to respond to this thread if there’s anything else that needs to be addressed.

    Kind regards,

    StevenK
