Can anyone tell me if there is a way to disable Wi-Fi, but keep bluetooth? I don't want anyone to be able to going the surface to a Wi-Fi network.
I've gone into device manager and disabled the adapter, but this takes out the bluetooth devices as well so the keyboard/mouse don't work anymore.
Is there anyway to only allow admins enable the Wi-Fi in the system tray?

In order to disable Wi-Fi connection without effecting your Bluetooth settings, please go to your Start Menu, then select Settings and go to Network and Internet. If you go to the Wi-Fi section, you should have a toggle/switch that will disable Wi-Fi only.

It may be best if you were to get into the tech-net forums or to commercial support for further assistance. With a domain connection there should be further options available, either through the domain itself or through group policy management settings.

Yeah i'm aware of that option, but this surface will part of a domain and I don't want anyone to just be able to simply switch the Wi-Fi back on using the same toggle switch. As far as I know they don't even need admin credentials to do so.

See what happens if you disable the WLANsvc service?
BTW there is also netsh wlan set autoconfig no
but I am less clear about the completeness of that option. ; )

Don't understand what you mean. If you forget all known networks, you should not
connect to wireless.
