Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

October 2019 updates

The following updates are available for all Surface Book 2 devices running Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803 or greater:

    and PS. i have several surface book 2 with fresh install that overheat and slow to .4 ghz

    problem comes up quick when docked to surface dock and lid is closed. SB2 is basically unusable that way.

    as noted in some of my other posts, the fan used to come on as needed when it got hot. now the fan rarely ever comes on when its connected to a surface dock / lid is closed. the second its open, the fan ramps up full speed

    i spent probably 40-60 hours trying to troubleshoot and working with microsoft on the issue but it was unproductive. they were wasting my time and going in a circle.

    they took a ton of logs and remote control of my computer a dozen times. very disruptive. how about this microsoft, take your own employees, take your own surface book 2 hardware, take your own windows 10 OS, and do some TESTING before releasing updates. when people report problems, reproduce it and test. heck i offered for someone to come see me in person and do what ever they needed to document the issue.

    i havent read the new posts (but see the threads were merged)

    this has been an issue from before 1903

    in fact, there are SEVERAL MAJOR issues that come with 1803, carried over into 1809, and then into 1903

    microsoft kept ignoring / denying there were any issues despite them being documented

    now all the sudden they are acknowledging but i dont understand why they think it was introduced in 1903 when its been around for quite some time before 1903?
