Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

updated firmware is still NOT available... have pressed "check for updates" many times the past couple days... i know certain updates are phased roll out but its not fair to mark this as resolved if not everyone can get their hands on the supposed fix and are still left with broken machines. and i dont know why microsoft has opted not to make the updated firmware packages available for download on the official download page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56261

Was so excited for this update but...my dGPU still drops out when using photoshop.

I have the top spec 15inch i7 16gb RAM 1tb Storage but am still stuck using integrated graphics in photoshop, which I use professionally to make a living.  Please dont give up on producing a reliable fix.

It is not nothing that I spent a lot of money on this laptop for it not to perform especially after so many months.
