Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.
October 2019 updates

2019-10-11T14:24:34+00:00 I got firmware updates this morning as well. I'm not in the Insiders program and I'm running 1903. I've set my nVidia preferences back to adaptive and have been testing all morning and it seems to have fixed the issue and the computer feels very snappy. I worried though that it had bricked my computer when installing.
Prior to this, my SB2 15" has been hanging at boot at the windows logo about 50% of the time whenever I reboot. I have to hold the power button to get it to restart. When it installed the firmware, it hung multiple times and even when into system recovery and failed to restart after that as well. I was looking on my other PC for a support phone number when it finally came up.
So far, I have not been able to crash the dGPU and I have done two reboots without it getting stuck. Fingers crossed on this one! Here's a screen shot of my driver updates. The failed installs are due to not having enough battery (40% required even if plugged in).

2019-10-11T13:32:23+00:00 So there are firmware updates possibly rolling in but no sign of an updated GPU driver? That is not good news as we need to see an updated GPU driver (there are not only performance concerns but security concerns. The black boxes/BSOD issues related to the GPU likely require a new GPU driver as do the Nvidia security holes that have been publicly published).
**Can anyone that elected to join the insider/preview program please report what version their GPU driver is on their SB2 that has dual-GPU?**I was told there should be a beta driver floating around.
