Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

Eddy's response says that the fix is in the Release Preview ring.
My understanding of the Release Preview ring is that release is imminent for whatever is in it.
So unless I'm misunderstanding something, I interpret Eddy's response as: a fix is coming really soon. If you want it right now, get on the Release Preview.
(For those unwilling and/or unable to implement this "pre-release fix" for whatever reason, for the sake of all subscribers to this thread, please keep your irrelevant responses to yourselves, as obviously if you're in that camp then this recommendation wasn't for you, at least not yet).
Maybe you should appreciate that not everyone is in the same camp as you, this thread is discussing SB2 GPU issues as a whole, and you cannot dictate who participates. Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Our only hope is that MS pushes this fix to PROD ASAP and there are no other bugs introduced along with. I am still very concerned that a Microsoft employee who has directly contacted the team working on the GPU fix states that all issues may not be fixed until next Spring. In addition to the GPU disconnects and throttling there are issues with black screens/boxes and BSOD.
Im In the same page as JayJay. But if it helps anyone i will be the test dummy and say i have been working with the the firmware fix and 1909 for the past few days and running 3DSMax , AutoCAD, on a 34 ultrawide Samsung monitor and i have had ZERO issues, the SB2 is running 100%....so to everyones fear and worry, my system is not running as a brick, nor has it been ruined or destroyed, i can happily say its running very solid after these updates....
