I'm tired of all these issues now. At first, a few days ago, I was working on this laptop and it shut down randomly. I switched it on, but again it shut down randomly. In 20 minutes, this happened thrice. I tried something, and then it worked fine for a day. Then today again, it is happening. The diagnostic kit says there's nothing wrong. Please help.

I did everything recommended but still had the same issues.  I have exchanged my Surface Pro 7 for a new one from Costco and hope this solves the issue.  I will keep everyone posted.

    Hi All,

I have the same problem, reached out to Microsoft. They asked me to do a bunch of stuff but nothing has helped...still waiting for a reply after submitting all that was requested.

Nothing new for me to add which hasn't been stated in this thread.  Hope they find a solution quick.

    Thanks

I found this solution elsewhere and posted it in another thread. I’ve had no problems for the last 2 weeks.

Disable the "Panel Self Refresh" option in the Intel Graphics Command Center:

    • "I've fixed it on my SP7 i5/8G/256G by installing the Intel Graphics Command Center from the Microsoft Store, opening it, going to System>Power>Panel Self Refresh and turning it off for both "On Battery" and "Plugged In"."

I am facing the same issue as well. Received my surface pro 7 last week and it has happened multiple times to a point where it has gotten very disruptive to my work. Do let us know if there are any fixes
