New Surface Pro 7 shutting down randomly

I'm tired of all these issues now. At first, a few days ago, I was working on this laptop and it shut down randomly. I switched it on, but again it shut down randomly. In 20 minutes, this happened thrice. I tried something, and then it worked fine for a day. Then today again, it is happening. The diagnostic kit says there's nothing wrong. Please help.

    Same issue here. I filed a notice of dispute. You should all do the same. Put the url to this chat in your paperwork too. If we all did this we may get some traction. Maybe we could get a class action against MS going.

    I am having the same exact issue! Microsoft has been no help. Support keeps telling me to try the same thing with no help. A two year old computer having this many issues after an update is ridiculous. More ridiculous that Microsoft has not done anything to help everyone with a fairly new surface pro that is having these issues. I should’ve gone with apple, that’s for sure.

    same - if I stop interacting with it for a few seconds, it will randomly turn off. It doesn't happen every time - sometimes I can leave it for like an hour and it's fine. Other times I'll look away and it turns off. If it ever goes to sleep, it turns off, too. So I made it so it can't go to sleep.

    I have the same problem. I bought a surface pro 7 i7 this week and it randomly shuts off all the time. I went through all the windows updates and it says it's up to date. I tried the Intel panel control thing fix, but I don't know what else to try.
