Surface Pro 3 Wavy diagonal lines when inking

I've noticed a problem with my surface pro 3 that I have not been able to work around.  When I draw a slow diagonal line, it comes out very wavy and jagged.  If I quickly draw a diagonal, it seems ok.  Has anyone else seen this, is there a fix for it?  seems to happen in every application, so it strikes me as potential hardware.

Tried with new batteries.  Same wavy lines.

Do you know if there is any official word on this problem?  I've heard that microsoft knows about it and is working on it, but I see no news or anything.

I really enjoyed using pro 3 until I noticed I couldn't write as neat as I was able to on surface pro 2.

One of the biggest reason was that when I try to draw a straight diagonal line, the lines were somewhat jittery.

I even tried using a non-capacitive ruler to draw straight, but nothing changed.

Drivers are up to date and I even tried new batteries but still no good.

When I did some research, I could see many users were suffuring from this same problem.

I wonder if there is a fix. If not, is microsoft aware of this problem?

This is a SERIOUS issues that Microsoft must fix, whether in conjunction with N-Trig or not.

I am not one to complain about these types of things, especially on such an otherwise great device.  However:

    • I purchased this device mainly for graphic design/sketching with programs like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, etc.
    • I noticed that whenever I try to draw a diagonal line slowly in ANY program (Illustrator, Painter, Manga Studio, even Microsoft OneNote), it begins to squiggle.  It is impossible to slowly draw a straight diagonal line.
    • In particular, I noticed this issue came to be AFTER updating the tablet with all of the Windows updates.  I am considering reverting the updates to see if by any chance that fixes the issue.
    • I tried changing all batteries in the pen, repairing the device, recalibrating the pen with the touch input settings/etc., NOTHING is working.

How can they let this happen?  The pen works great otherwise, but this is a CRIPPLING issue for people wanting to do serious art on this device.  I am sure that Microsoft intended for this device to be a companion for many digital artists.

Please, Microsoft: ACKNOWLEDGE AND FIX THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY

I have the same issue. Of course, if speed of drawing a line is faster, it makes the line look more straight. But this not helps. I have not noticed such behavior in Surface Pro 2. Please fix this issue. Digitizer pen is one of first reasons to buy Surface Pro. Drawing experience on this device should be perfect.
