Surface Pro 3 Wavy diagonal lines when inking

In the meantime I have tested this with another Surface Pro 3 - an i7-Version.

The problem did NOT occur on that device!

So we still do not have a solution, but I have seen and tried a SP3 that works as supposed.

So eventually there is a chance to fix that behavior.

This is even worse news - did some devices somehow escape this flaw in manufacturing?

Why are most devices experiencing this but some aren't? If some devices aren't experiencing this, does that mean that Microsoft will see most devices as defective? Are they even going to bother to address this?

I have returned my i7 SP3 because of this. All other i7 SP3 I have tested suffer this problem. Remember that the diagonal lines should be performed slowly to test the problem.

Really hoping to hear something soon about this. It seems to happen at random times and really slows down my notetaking and throws me off for a bit.

I bought my SP3 a couple months ago to take notes in OneNote, as I have done for years on my X201t. I noticed fairly early on that something was off about my handwriting. It just seemed imprecise, like I was pushing around a little circle by bumping its edge and it would draw at its center. The handwriting felt wonky like that.

It wasn't until today that I tried drawing some straight diagonal lines slowly. I realized right away that the issue was severe and must be the cause for my weird handwriting.

Here's a 200% zoom of my writing "really small." You can see the letter 'a' in "really" is collapsed and blending into the 'l'. The 's' in "small" started off okay at the top, but the bottom half is mangled. I could (and did) regularly write at this scale on my X201t.

I've been using and loving OneNote since 2009. Getting my X201t in 2010 was revolutionary for me in terms of how I use a computer. I was so excited that MS was finally getting behind OneNote and stylus computing with the SP3, but I'm feeling so disappointed right now. I want to keep this tablet, but if this issue isn't resolved within two weeks, I'm going to sell it on Craigslist and switch back to my X201t.

I'm having problems with writting as well on OneNote. Sometimes the letters just look shaky and not so straight good looking. I notice that this problem doesn't occur as often in other programs that don't use the pressure sensitivity option.
