Surface Pro 3 Wavy diagonal lines when inking

I think next time is better just to buy the Surface Pro 4 when microsoft release Surface Pro 5. That way all the bugs have been corrected on the sp4 by then.

I have been watching this topic for a while now (I'm subscribed so I receive email notifications whenever someone posts) and thought I'd wait until the November firmware update before posting.

The person who said he was told by a customer support agent should know that they have very little knowledge about Surface devices and only follow basic guidelines so they're only really good for newbies. Other than that they know absolutely nothing about what goes on at Surface and Microsoft HQ. I immediately realised that the customer support agent must have told the person who posted here that the November firmware update contains a fix for this issue as a way to get rid of him or is just talking rubbish, like many customer support agents do.

The Surface Pro 3 pen jitter is a major issue and it amazes me how on earth the Surface team missed it (or did they?). The kickstand is awesome but what good is it for us artists! The entire device becomes pointless for art due to this pen issue. I honestly find it hard to believe that the Surface team were unaware of this. What's annoying is that they decide not to talk about it as it'll damage their sales.

I don't believe this issue can be fixed as it's a hardware issue which the N-trig technology suffers from unlike Wacom which is superior to all.

I honestly feel like crying in anger in front of the Suface team and just ask, "Why?".

If they continue to use N-trig for Surface Pro 4 (not long left until they announce it) then I guess it's better to invest in a Wacom Cintiq instead, even though their screens are horrible, but the pen technology is just flawless and that's what matters most.

I'm an artist as well. It irritates me to no end that this product falls short by one pen, but that's the part that matters most.

Engineer here, and I mark up plans all of the time on my SP3 and it bugs me to no end that the straight lines I draw are jagged.

I've found that if I need to draw a line slowly, I get the best results by keeping the pen perpendicular to the screen. If there's any tilt at all in the pen, the jaggies become more and more pronounced. But lines are still pretty jagged even when the pen is perfectly upright.

I picked up a i5 128Gig SP3 three weeks ago. I get the same kind of issue. As often as not, my drawing/writing gets a tremor-effect. In the image below, the first circled word, 'about', is my normal handwriting.

The next word on the line 'handwriting' starts to show some issues, then it seems to lessen/vanish, only to reappear at the end with the circled word 'again'.

The best example is the last circled word 'and'. it's both tremored (tm) and also floating above the ruled line.

It happens in the metro version of Onenote, as well as Manga studio. I don't know if it's occcuring more when the SP3 is very warm... I've tried changing my hand placing (I thought it might be related to the palm rejection tech)... I'm going to try returning/replacing mine. I've already tried replacing the Pen, replacing the pen battery, factory resetting and re-updating.
