Surface Pro 3 Wavy diagonal lines when inking

I've noticed a problem with my surface pro 3 that I have not been able to work around.  When I draw a slow diagonal line, it comes out very wavy and jagged.  If I quickly draw a diagonal, it seems ok.  Has anyone else seen this, is there a fix for it?  seems to happen in every application, so it strikes me as potential hardware.

unfortunately, my solution was to return the device.  It seems like it is a known flaw with the technology (Ntrig) used in the surface pro 3, and I don't see it being something that can be fixed.  I waited as long as I could, hoping for a patch, but nothing happened.

This has been a common problem ever since the release of the surface. My surface RT did it when I bought it, and amazing this problem persists into the 3rd generation of the devices. I don't get it, sometimes Microsoft is quick to address issues, other times it's like it never actually makes it onto a project list. Same thing applies to the music shutting off every time the monitor goes to sleep... was a problem with first generation, there were complaints, and the problem still persists.

I have the same issue. Of course, if speed of drawing a line is faster, it makes the line look more straight. But this not helps. I have not noticed such behavior in Surface Pro 2. Please fix this issue. Digitizer pen is one of first reasons to buy Surface Pro. Drawing experience on this device should be perfect.

This is a SERIOUS issues that Microsoft must fix, whether in conjunction with N-Trig or not.

I am not one to complain about these types of things, especially on such an otherwise great device.  However:

    • I purchased this device mainly for graphic design/sketching with programs like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, etc.
    • I noticed that whenever I try to draw a diagonal line slowly in ANY program (Illustrator, Painter, Manga Studio, even Microsoft OneNote), it begins to squiggle.  It is impossible to slowly draw a straight diagonal line.
    • In particular, I noticed this issue came to be AFTER updating the tablet with all of the Windows updates.  I am considering reverting the updates to see if by any chance that fixes the issue.
    • I tried changing all batteries in the pen, repairing the device, recalibrating the pen with the touch input settings/etc., NOTHING is working.

How can they let this happen?  The pen works great otherwise, but this is a CRIPPLING issue for people wanting to do serious art on this device.  I am sure that Microsoft intended for this device to be a companion for many digital artists.

Please, Microsoft: ACKNOWLEDGE AND FIX THIS ISSUE IMMEDIATELY
