Intermittently since I bought my Surface Pro 3 last summer, I have had problems with very jagged, disconnected, and nearly-unreadable writing in OneNote. My Surface is fully updated, I have replaced the AAAA battery and the pen nib, and I have turned pen pressure sensitivity off, all to no avail. It is becoming nearly impossible to take notes. Here are two snips of some notes I've taken, keeping in mind that this is the most readable I could make this, erasing and rewriting until I could actually kind-of read it. I tried to contact Surface Support, but the site seems to be malfunctioning over the last week. I click on the "chat now" and "request a call" buttons, but nothing happens. I've tried this in several browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and IE). I love my Surface, but I'm really starting to get fed up with this. Please help me resolve this problem.
Surface Pro 3 Wavy diagonal lines when inking
I've noticed a problem with my surface pro 3 that I have not been able to work around. When I draw a slow diagonal line, it comes out very wavy and jagged. If I quickly draw a diagonal, it seems ok. Has anyone else seen this, is there a fix for it? seems to happen in every application, so it strikes me as potential hardware.

2015-02-22T20:03:16+00:00 dear MS "professionals"
may I ask for the twentieth time?
are you now going to exchange the defective units, or rather fix them via firmware?
Its very disturbing to the customer to ignore the problem just for business reasons, the deal has now taken place, please at least speak up now...

2015-02-16T22:03:46+00:00 thanks for acknowledging the fact in the first place.
So I hope Microsoft has not bought the other company with 200m upfront,
...I should have brought this statement up seven days earlier ....
at least this now explains why there was no intention at all whether from ms nor from ntrig to admit the mis-design before accomplishing the transaction...

2015-02-16T01:16:07+00:00 Ok, I don't know if this is any help or if anyone else has discovered this, but I have noticed something that may explain why users are seeing the wavy line problem but developers can't seem to notice it. If you hold the SP3 Pen SUPER striaght, I'm talking completely perpendicular to the tablet, the issue is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. Like pretty darn near straight lines, even when drawn slowly. However, the second you draw a straight diagonal line while holding the pen like you would while drawing a normal picture (Slanted quite a bit and held near the tip), the issue is greatly magnified. So I can see why the issue might have not been seen if tests were being preformed by robots or people who don't draw a lot.
So Microsoft, N-Trig, whoever, this is what we are doing: Drawing slow, diagonal lines, circles, and other normal things. We are holding the pen like you would any normal pencil or pen, we aren't holding them like a robot at a perfect 90 degree angle. The lines are wavy, innacurate, and very poor. This is with every Surface Pro that we can get our hands on. Please, please aknowledge the fact that this is happening. Try drawing a nice picture or writing a smooth word with the Surface Pro 3. So far every official answer from Microsoft is just denying that the problem exists. I love my Surface! I want it to truly be the Tablet that can replace my laptop. But when I can draw straighter lines on a Nintendo DS than a machine I dropped 1000 dollars on, it just can't be that. These forums are all that many of us have to turn to, please help us out, please investigate and fix this.

2015-02-16T00:56:01+00:00 That response really irks me because the issue obviously DOES exist, and it's not just on a few models. It is on every single Surface Pro 3 that I have tried from my own to many display models in the store. Not to mention the other users online. Barb's response gives me some hope though because it sounds as if we might get some kind of real answer out of this. Here's hoping.
