    Hi @Renata Carvalho

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum.

We understand the difficulties you're experiencing with accessing your Facebook account after changing phones, and we appreciate the opportunity to assist you. Based on your situation, we recommend the following solutions to help you recover access:

    1. Use recovery codes  If you saved the recovery codes provided by Facebook when you first set up two-factor authentication (2FA), you can use one of those codes as follows:
      • Go to the Facebook login page and sign in with your username and password.
      • On the two-factor authentication screen, click “Need another way to authenticate?”
      • Select “Enter recovery code” and use one of your saved codes.
    2. Log in from a device that is still signed in  If you still have access to a device where your Facebook account is currently logged in:
      • Open Facebook on that device.
      • Go to Settings > Security and Login > Two-Factor Authentication
      • From there, you can either disable 2FA or reconfigure the Authenticator app on your new phone.
    3. Contact Facebook Support for account recovery  If you no longer have access to the Authenticator app, recovery codes, or a trusted device:
      • Visit the Facebook recovery page.
      • Enter your email address or phone number to locate your account.
      • Click “Need another way to authenticate?” or “I can’t access my authenticator.”
      • Follow the instructions to verify your identity. Facebook may request additional information, such as a photo ID.

Please note that as moderators, we are here to provide guidance and support; however, we are unable to recover your Facebook account on your behalf.

Additionally, while Facebook may be linked to your Microsoft Authenticator, it is a separate platform and not managed by Microsoft. Therefore, we recommend that you contact Facebook Support directly for further assistance, following the steps outlined above to ensure an effective resolution.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
