Hi Devi, Sarala

Thanks for using the Q&A platform.

Are these both Microsoft Accounts (i.e., personal Microsoft accounts like Outlook.com), or is one of them an Azure AD Account (work or school account)?

If both accounts are Microsoft personal accounts, you can link them using the Account Merge feature:

  • Go to account.microsoft.com and log in with the primary account.
  • Navigate to Your Info → Manage How You Sign in to Microsoft.
  • Add the secondary email and verify it.
  • Once added, you can set it as the primary alias.

If these are Azure AD accounts (work/school), merging is not directly supported, but you can:

  • Ensure both accounts have the same Azure AD tenant and assign necessary roles.
  • Transfer resources or data between accounts by sharing ownership.
  • If you need to consolidate Azure AD users, consider creating a new user and assigning the relevant permissions.
