edit guest name in MS Teams

If I accidentally entered the guest's name incorrectly, is it possible to edit it? If it can be changed, how do I do it?

Thats a good question and thanks for using QandAa platform

You also can modify your guest display name when you add a guest to team in Teams by following steps:

Typing in the member’s email address
Click Add as a guest
Click on the pencil icon to edit the guest information, replace the username with the proper name
Click on the check mark to save your edits
Click Add
Close

So I have given the guests custom names. Now I notice a spelling error, and I want to edit the name I gave one person. Where do I do that? It seems to be impossible.

upon adding a Guest name I have misspelled it. can I go back and Edit it again?

I've done the same thing - but there is no pencil available to edit the guest name - it remembers the incorrect name and I can't add the same email address without it putting the wrong name in again.
