Wrong name associated with email address

When I bcc myself and begin typing my email address, a different name comes up. My contact list has the correct name/email for myself and the other name. My Microsoft profile has the correct name. I can't figure out how to correct it.

There is no concern for user convenience. One should be able to select an email address in a received email and easily add it to contacts. But you can't. And New Outlook is substituting an incorrect contact name (someone else's), apparently pulled out of thin air, when you manually type in the email address. Microsoft has completely lost its mind on this one.

Please follow the link below to clear the auto-complete list cache and see if it helps with this issue. Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete
