Save to OneDrive

Personal OneNote notebooks are automatically saved to OneDrive in both the browser and the app. To verify your sync status, right-click on any notebook in the navigation pane—this shows whether the notebook is up to date or still syncing.

Note

OneNote Class Notebooks created through Microsoft Teams or via LTI in your learning management system are saved to your school's SharePoint, not your personal OneDrive. To learn more about Class Notebooks, complete the OneNote Class Notebook module.

Share a notebook

Share your notebook with collaborators by navigating to the Share button in the top right corner. This brings up options to share the notebook or a link.
