How to save a Word document after received "save failed due to out of memory or disk space" when I have plenty of space/memory on my computer

Hello:

Suddenly I cannot save documents in Word Version 16.112.3 2026 on my MacAir computer. I called and spoke to Apple advisors who helped me to discover that I have plenty of disk space and memory on my computer and in Drop Box so they suggested that this was a Microsoft Word problem, not a Mac/Apple Problem. How do I fix this problem?
