Bonjour,

Set-OrganizationConfig `

-EwsAllowedAppIDs « f8d98a96-0999-43f5-8af3-69971c7bb423 »

Aucune erreur n'est renvoyée.

Test supplémentaire :

Set-OrganizationConfig `

-EwsAllowedAppIDs "f8d98a96-0999-43f5-8af3-69971c7bb423,3876d2eb-0d08-4230-961b-428ddd74a40f,820f153b -2593-41ba-8d8c-157eec4bb791"

Aucune erreur n’est renvoyée.

Cependant, la configuration reste vide :

Get-OrganizationConfig | fl EwsEnabled,EwsAllowedAppIDs

Résultat :

EwsEnabled : True

EwsAllowedAppIDs :

Vérification complémentaire :

(Get-OrganizationConfig).EwsAllowedAppIDs.GetType().FullName

Résultat :

System.String

(Get-OrganizationConfig).EwsAllowedAppIDs

Résultat :

Vide

Les entités de service suivantes existent dans notre locataire :

AppId : f8d98a96-0999-43f5-8af3-69971c7bb423

veeam365ard

AppId : 3876d2eb-0d08-4230-961b-428ddd74a40f

Cronofy

AppId : 820f153b-2593-41ba-8d8c-157eec4bb791

Question :

English-only support.

EwsAllowedAppIDs is supported in Exchange Online.

Use these points to validate the configuration:

  1. Enable EWS at the organization level:
       Set-OrganizationConfig -EwsEnabled $true

  2. Set the allowed application IDs as a comma-separated list of Entra application IDs:
       Set-OrganizationConfig -EwsAllowedAppIDs "f8d98a96-0999-43f5-8af3-69971c7bb423,3876d2eb-0d08-4230-961b-428ddd74a40f,820f153b-2593-41ba-8d8c-157eec4bb791"

  3. Verify with the retrieval switch that exposes the EWS operation access policy values:
       Get-OrganizationConfig -RetrieveEwsOperationAccessPolicy | Format-List EwsAllowedAppIDs

Get-OrganizationConfig | fl EwsEnabled,EwsAllowedAppIDs is not the documented verification method for this setting. The documented command for viewing configured app IDs is:

Get-OrganizationConfig -RetrieveEwsOperationAccessPolicy | Format-List EwsAllowedAppIDs

Additional notes:

  • Do not include curly braces around values.
  • To remove the restriction, set the parameter to $null.
  • EwsAllowedAppIDs restricts EWS access to only the specified Entra applications when EWS is enabled.

The provided context does not state that this feature is still rolling out in Exchange Online.
