Hello, I am using New Outlook for Windows with a Gmail account connected to Outlook.

Starting today (September 21, 2026), I have been unable to copy and paste tables.

Although the settings are configured as follows:

Message format: HTML
Paste from other apps: Keep Source Formatting
Paste from email and calendar: Keep Source Formatting

Could you please check this issue and advise on how to resolve it?

To better understand the issue, could you please help confirm the following:

What is the source of the table you're trying to copy and paste (for example, Excel, Word, Gmail, or a web page)?

Does the issue occur with all tables, or only with tables from a specific source?

Are you able to paste plain text successfully, but not tables?

May I know your current New Outlook version/build? (Settings > General > About Outlook)

Any update would be appreciated.

There is no problem with pasting plain text, but the issue occurs specifically when copying and pasting tables from Google Sheets.

Here is my current Outlook version:
Microsoft Outlook : 1.2026.908.200

Client : 20260911013.04

WebView2 : 153.0.4234.48 (Stable)

Based on my research, this issue appears to be specific to copying HTML-formatted tables from Google Sheets into New Outlook, while plain text pasting continues to work normally. I have found similar reports from other users indicating that copying formatted tables from Google Sheets into Outlook's compose editor may no longer work as expected after recent updates. At this time, I have not identified any officially published Microsoft Known Issue regarding this behavior.

For now, to investigate and troubleshoot further, I would recommend contacting the Outlook Support team directly from the Outlook application via Help > Support and providing the details of your issue. This allows the Outlook team to collect additional diagnostic information and determine whether the behavior is related to a recent product change.

As a temporary workaround, you can use Insert > Table in the message draft and then paste the cell contents into the Outlook table. Outlook officially supports creating and editing tables directly within messages. Insert or edit a table in Outlook.com

You may also consider pasting the content into a Microsoft Excel worksheet first, then copying it from Excel and pasting it into New Outlook. I tested this workaround on my side and it worked successfully, so you could give it a try and let me know if this helps.
