Can't activate windows 11 enterprise with the error code 0xC004F074.... Even after troubleshooting it, it does not fetch any problem

Good day. The error 0xC004F074 points more toward an activation/licensing issue than a Windows Update problem. Windows 11 Enterprise normally requires the appropriate organization/volume license, and if it's using KMS, the PC needs to be able to reach your organization's activation service.

Let's check which activation channel is currently configured:

Open Command Prompt as administrator.
Run: slmgr /dlv
In the window that appears, look for Description and Product Key Channel.
If it shows VOLUME_KMSCLIENT, connect the PC to your company's network or VPN and then run: slmgr /ato

If this is a personal PC and you don't have access to an organization's KMS server, that's important because Enterprise won't activate through a normal personal Windows license. Microsoft also notes that 0xC004F074 can occur when an Enterprise key is being used without access to the organization's network.

Error 0xC004F074 means Windows is trying to use KMS activation and no Key Management Service could be contacted. The documented causes are:

The Software Protection Platform Service (sppsvc) on the KMS host is stopped.
TCP port 1688 is blocked between the client and the KMS host.
The DNS _VLMCS SRV record points to an incorrect or old KMS host.

Use this troubleshooting path:

Check the current activation state in Settings > System > Activation.
- A healthy device should show Windows is activated with a digital license.
- If a Windows Enterprise subscription is in use, it should also show Windows 11 Enterprise subscription is active.
Verify licensing details from an elevated Command Prompt:

If this device is supposed to activate through KMS, verify connectivity to the KMS host on port 1688:

On the KMS host, verify the Software Protection Platform Service is running.

- In Group Policy, set Do not connect to any Windows Update Internet locations to Disabled or Not Configured.

Run the Activation troubleshooter only if Windows is not activated:
