My Microsoft 365 admin center support is not working. And when I call a support number, it directs me to the admin automated support (that isn't working).

I purchased my surface computer for business activities on 8/31/2026.

I set up a new ******@outlook.com for my business. However, in my account.microsoft.com (not the admin) it identifies as "personal". I then set up outlook and purchased a business 365 subscription. The subscription shows up in the Microsoft 365 admin center, but not in my 'account.microsoft.com'.

No ' [******@yourbusiness.onmicrosoft.com]" was created.

  1. Business Standard subscription is active.
  2. Global Admin account is [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]@outlook.com.
  3. Word activates successfully and shows:
    • Microsoft 365 Apps for business
      • Licensed to [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]@outlook.com
      1. Bookings rejects the account as a personal account.
      2. myaccount.microsoft.com rejects the account as a personal account.
      3. Admin Center repeatedly displays messaging about converting accounts to business accounts.

That's a very specific provisioning problem, and it's something Microsoft support can see from the tenant side.

Because my in product support window isn't functioning and the phone number only directs me back there, HOW DO I GET ACTUAL HELP?

    Dear Michaele A,

To better understand how your Microsoft 365 Business account was originally set up, could you please clarify where you purchased the Surface computer for your business activities? For example, was the Surface purchased directly from Microsoft, from a retailer, or through a specific Microsoft business purchase program? Also, were you provided with a Microsoft 365 business account as part of that purchase or setup process?

Additionally, you mentioned that your Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription is currently active in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Could you please open the Admin Center, go to Billing > Your products, and provide a screenshot showing the Business Standard subscription and its status? If possible, please also provide any other information showing that the account you are using is configured as a Microsoft 365 business account.

Please send these screenshots, along with the account details you are currently using to sign in, to me via private message so I can review the information more closely. Kindly check by clicking the "Message" button shown below:

Greatly appreciate again for your patience and understanding.
