Microphone does not work in Zoom

Microphone does not work in Zoom. Problem is related to a Windows 10 Audio file problem that only affects Zoom. Default audio and other option is identical. Microsoft gave me a fix that worked previously, but I failed to write it down and now the AI bot doesn't know what I'm talking about.

    Could you please confirm whether your microphone works normally in other applications, such as Windows Sound Recorder or Teams?

    Also, have you already tried the following?

    • Open Zoom > Settings > Audio and check the selected microphone.
    • Go to Windows Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure microphone access is enabled for desktop apps.

    If the issue persists, please let me know your Zoom version and whether the microphone works in Windows Sound Recorder. This will help me narrow down whether the problem is related to Zoom or Windows audio configuration.
