Cannot verify rewards purchase

When redeeming my points, i need to verify the purchase. I cannot verify with my phone number because it doesnt let me add one in microsoft account, and when I try verifying via phone app it gives me an error.

The reward im trying to redeem is an overwatch 1000 code, i have the exact amount of points needed (with coupon) - 9800. Is it an issue with the coupon or something else? What do i do?

    For personal Microsoft accounts, Microsoft now says you can no longer add a phone number as a new security method. This method is being phased out. See official document here.
