Hello,

**I am locked out of my Microsoft account: ****@hotmail.com

Here is what happened:

1. I received a security alert saying there was unusual activity on my account.

2. I tried to recover my account using the official Microsoft Account Recovery Form.

3. I submitted the form many times with correct information, including old passwords and usage details.

4. The automated system keeps rejecting my recovery attempts without any explanation.

**5. I also tried sending a recovery email to my backup account ****@hotmail.com, but I never received any response from Microsoft.

6. I am now completely locked out and cannot access my emails, contacts, or any Microsoft services.

Please help me. I need a human to review my case. I can provide any verification you need to prove I own this account.

Thank you.

In all likelihood your account has been hacked and the hackers have changed your Account Properties, Security Settings, and enabled Two Step Verification.

The Account Recovery Form can not be used for an Account with Two Step Verification

Microsoft has made the automated recovery process untouchable. No human can exert any influence on your behalf. No human will ever look at your Account Recovery form. The automated process checks only if you have answered the specific questions on the form. Anything else is ignored. Microsoft Support Agents can not unlock an account, reset your password, or change any Security Settings no matter what documentation you can present.

I am sorry. I know that losing access to your account is more than just an inconvenience, it can cause real hardships. I wish I could give you another answer.

A manual review for Microsoft account recovery is not available through support agents for password reset or account detail changes. For account protection, support agents are not allowed to send password reset links or access and change account details.

    What is supported:

    1. If two-step verification was turned on and none of the alternate verification methods are accessible, the account cannot be recovered through support.
    2. If two-step verification was not turned on and the verification email or phone options are not recognized, use the Sign-in Helper tool first.
    3. If the recovery form is being rejected, submit it again from a device and location previously used to sign in to that account, such as the usual home or office location.
    4. A working email address is required for the recovery process. That address is used only to send updates about the recovery request.
    5. Microsoft reviews recovery form answers and sends a result to the working email address within 24 hours.
    6. If the request is not verified, the recovery form can be retried up to two times per day.
    7. If the account is locked, try signing in at https://account.microsoft.com to request a security code. Any phone number that can receive text messages can be used for that code; it does not need to already be associated with the account.
    8. If the sign-in flow shows that the Microsoft account does not exist, check the account spelling carefully and try any other alias or phone number associated with the account.
    9. If the account remains inaccessible, use Contact Microsoft Support for technical support, but account recovery decisions themselves remain protected by the automated verification process.
