A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hello Gregg,
Thank you for providing the error details.
Before proceeding, could you please confirm whether the affected work account can access the following services through a web browser?
If both services work correctly on the web, the account credentials and services are may still valid, and the issue may related to locally cached authentication information on the PC.
Please try the following steps:
1/ Sign out of the affected work account in Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and any other Microsoft 365 applications. Then, close all Microsoft applications completely.
2/ Clear the saved credentials:
- Press Windows key + S, search for "Credential Manager", and open it.
- Select Windows Credentials.
- Look for entries related to Microsoft 365, Office, Outlook, OneDrive, or the affected work account. Remove the relevant entries to clear outdated authentication information.
3/ Reset OneDrive by following the instructions in the article below: Reset OneDrive
Resetting OneDrive does not delete your files, but it disconnects the existing sync connections and performs a full synchronization after OneDrive starts again.
4/ Depending on whether you use Classic Outlook or New Outlook, you can also refer to the following article for the available Office cache-clearing steps: Clear the Office cache
After completing the steps, shut down the computer completely. Turn it back on, open the Microsoft applications, and sign in again with the affected work account.
Please let me know whether Outlook and OneDrive work on the web and whether the same error remains after completing these steps. If the web versions are also blocked, I recommend contacting your organization’s IT administrator to verify the account, license, and any device access policies applied to personal computers.
Kind regards,
