Dear Microsoft Support Team,

My name is [Moderator's note: PII removed].

I am currently experiencing an issue with my Excel file “THEO DÕI ĐƠN HÀNG 2026.xlsx.” During the process of updating the file, all data in the “THÁNG 8” worksheet was accidentally deleted/lost.

I have already checked several recovery options on my computer, including Previous Versions, Excel AutoRecover, and Unsaved Files, but I have not been able to find a version containing the missing “THÁNG 8” data.

I would kindly ask Microsoft Support to help me check whether there is any previous version, backup copy, temporary file, recovery data, or other available copy of this Excel file that may allow me to restore the missing “THÁNG 8” worksheet.

File information:

  • File name: THEO DÕI ĐƠN HÀNG 2026.xlsx
  • Missing worksheet: THÁNG 8
  • Date the issue was discovered: September 19, 2026
  • Data to be recovered: The data in the “THÁNG 8” worksheet before it was deleted/lost
  • The current Excel file is still available, and I would prefer to restore only the missing “THÁNG 8” worksheet without affecting the other existing data.

If Microsoft still has any historical version or recoverable copy of this file, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in locating and restoring it.

I am willing to provide the current Excel file, my Microsoft account information, the approximate date and time when the data was lost, and any other information required for the investigation.

Thank you very much for your assistance. I look forward to your support.

Best regards,
[Moderator's note: PII removed]

    Hi Trương Thị Hồng,

Based on your description, the worksheet data was accidentally removed during editing, and you have already checked common recovery locations such as AutoRecover, Unsaved Files, and Previous Versions without locating the missing content.

As a next step, it would be helpful to verify where the workbook was stored when the data was lost:

    • OneDrive or SharePoint: Check the workbook's Version History to see whether an earlier copy contains the missing worksheet.
    • Local computer storage: Review any backup solution you may use, such as Windows Backup, File History, or third-party backup software, for a copy created before the worksheet was deleted.

If the workbook is associated with a Microsoft 365 account and stored in cloud storage, you may also contact Microsoft Support directly for account-specific assistance in reviewing available file history options.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas.

I understand how important this data may be, and I hope a previous version of the workbook is still available.
