    Root Cause :

    Page break preview mode & Multiple sheet selected & Payout layout view . this three having any issue the greyed out issue will occur.

    Solution :

    Page break preview :

    Go to View → Normal.

    Multiple sheet selected :

    Right‑click any sheet tab → Ungroup Sheets.

    Page Layout View :

    Switch to Normal view, then open Page Layout → Print Titles again.

    After enabling.

    Go to Page Layout → Print Titles

    Under Rows to repeat at top, enter:

    $1:$3

    This will print rows 1–3 on every page of your 3‑page printout.
