I cant open any of my documents

NOne of my excel or word documents will open. I keep getting error messages or it saying my credentials are incorrect. they ar4e not. even when I reset my pasword

    Hi, @Chris MacCall

    If you haven’t tried it yet, first, open Word or Excel, go to File > Account, sign out of the Microsoft account shown there, then close all Office apps.

    Restart the computer, open Word again, and sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your Microsoft 365 subscription.

    Also check whether your subscription or Office license shows as active here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

    If the issue still persists, to help narrow down the issue:

    1. What is the exact error message you get when opening a document?
    2. Can Word or Excel open a new blank document normally?
    3. Are the affected files saved on your computer or in OneDrive?
